Built by someone who made the jump
I spent seven years in the police — starting on the beat, then moving into detective work. It taught me to stay calm under pressure, dig into complex problems, and find what actually matters. Nobody told me those skills would travel. They do.
During the pandemic I stumbled into tech and havent stopped since. These days I live in Melbourne, Australia. The hardest part of leaving wasn't learning the new job. It was working out how to explain what six years of service is worth to a civilian employer.
