Job Location: Bolton, BL1 2HB
Job Type: Full Time, Office based, Occasional travel to sites is required
Shift Pattern: To suit the need of the business, primarily evenings and weekends with day time shifts as required.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
As the Assistant Central Operations Manager you will be responsible for carrying out the day to day responsibilities of the Central Operations Team. This will involve the operations management of 150+ schools, and the recruitment of Recreational Assistants for each site to operate seamlessly.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting with the management of our office based Operational Supervisors who work outside of school hours on both evenings and weekends.
- Making key decisions centrally for our team off staff remotely.
- Effectively communicating with School Key contacts reporting any operational issues
- Assisting in the management of annual leave and cover.
- Overseeing staff compliance within the field and administration.
- Overseeing recruitment of Recreation Assistants.
- Supporting our in the field Management team.
- Utilising our HR platform, Bright HR.
- Assisting with payroll.
- Onboarding admin for new starters.
- Supporting with the launch of our new digital platform.
- Having a flexible and adaptive approach to meet the daily needs of the business.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, retention, and management of employee churn.
- Operational experience in a fast-paced business with multiple departments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.

Pay: £26,500.00-£27,100.00 per year
