About this role

Company Description

Showtime Consulting is a leading provider of Shielded Cloud and Digital Solutions across Australia and New Zealand. We specialise in delivering secure, enterprise-scale technology solutions across cloud, data, AI, cyber security, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and digital transformation programs.

We partner with major organisations to build high-performing technology teams and deliver innovative technology platforms that improve productivity, operational efficiency, governance, security, and business outcomes.

As organisations continue to evolve their cyber security capabilities, we are seeking experienced professionals to support the delivery of Zero Trust, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and secure remote access initiatives across complex enterprise environments.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join a high-performing security and infrastructure team in Sydney.

This is a hybrid technical and project-focused role supporting the delivery of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust, and remote access transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and engineering teams to gather requirements, coordinate project activities, manage testing, and support the successful rollout of secure access solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of cloud security knowledge, business analysis experience, and project coordination expertise, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct interviews with business units to document application access requirements and user personas.

Document and analyse existing VPN access processes and design future-state Zero Trust workflows.

Profile and categorise applications to support onboarding and security prioritisation activities.

Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) criteria and coordinate validation activities with business stakeholders.

Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and engineering workstreams.

Prepare status reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership updates.

Identify project risks, security concerns, and compliance issues while supporting mitigation activities.

Coordinate change management activities, communications, and training programs.

Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams to support successful project outcomes.

What You'll Need

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role within IT infrastructure projects.

Experience working with Identity & Access Management (IAM) or remote access technologies.

Strong understanding of Zero Trust security concepts and secure access frameworks.

Hands-on experience working with Citrix technologies.

Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.

Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and project coordination capabilities.

Desirable Skills

Experience with cloud security frameworks and cyber security best practices.

Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and modern security models.

Experience working within Agile project environments.

Relevant cloud security, cyber security, or project management certifications.

Experience supporting large enterprise transformation or security programs.

Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Why Join Us?

Support strategic cyber security and Zero Trust transformation initiatives.

Work with modern cloud, IAM, and secure access technologies.

Collaborate with experienced security, infrastructure, and project teams.

Influence enterprise security outcomes and access management programs.

Gain exposure to large-scale infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.

Be part of a growing consultancy delivering leading cyber security solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
