About this role

Compliance Associate position for a Sydney-based and privately owned alternative investment manager. They are cutting-edge and technology-driven with offices in Sydney, Singapore, London, and Dubai. The firm is built on a strong foundation of teamwork and collaboration and seeking a self-sufficient and motivated individual to take the lead for the compliance function.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all financial service’s regulatory obligations including licence conditions and filings in relevant jurisdictions. You will monitor ongoing compliance obligations across all relevant jurisdictions, maintaining all compliance, incident and breach registers, periodic compliance reviews, the drafting, review, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring currency with regulatory developments across all applicable jurisdictions. You will also prepare quarterly Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee papers, including reporting packs and minutes and act as the designated AML/CTF Compliance Officer managing the program, KYC requirements, overseeing the fund administrator and manage relationships across various jurisdictions.

Seeking a c3-7 years’ experience as a compliance professional in a funds management business in Australia or Singapore. An undergraduate qualification in business, finance, law or related discipline and hands-on familiarity with ASIC/MAS and compliance frameworks, AML/CTF requirements, KYC and governance processes. Familiarity with ensuring compliance with trustee obligations would also be highly regarded. In addition, the ability to work autonomously in a small, high-performing team and manage competing priorities without close supervision. You must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
