About this role

About You

  • Located in or near Pinkenba.
  • Prior experience within the Construction or Manufacturing Industry is highly desirable
  • Experience working with and organising subcontractors in accordance with project scope of works
  • Advanced administration experience
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills and relevant software and project management systems such as SAP, SAGE and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work from the Pinkenba site full time – This is not a Work from Home Role

As a Contracting Operations Coordinator, you will have the responsibility for delivering best in class customer service while coordinating project administration, subcontractor scheduling and other construction-phase activities, ensuring smooth communication and efficient support for both internal and external stakeholders

Some tasks as part of this role include

  • Act as a key liaison and customer support contact to external customers and internal Knauf Linings field members including Area Managers & Project Coordinators
  • Raise customer cases & complaints with a view of resolving issues promptly
  • Process builder call-ups and reschedules in accordance with service level agreements, project readiness and operational capacity
  • Allocate subcontracted and employed trades to various stages of works in residential housing projects ensuring trades are fully optimised
  • Address any rescheduling requirements and ensure updates are communicated effectively. Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays to minimise disruptions to project timelines
  • Assist with onboarding administration to subcontractors detailing the works allocated to them
  • Identify and resolve customer purchase order discrepancies in line with Knauf Linings estimates and allowances.
  • Process project variations, extras, shortages as requested by Knauf Linings field teams ensuring correct cost allocations and Limits of Authority are followed
