*JOB TITLE:*Corporate Security Officer

*LOCATION:*Manchester, M3

*PAY RATE:*£14.50per hour

HOURS/ WORKING PATTERN: Monday to Friday 52 hours per week with shift start times from 08:00 and Finish time by 22:00

THE ROLE

A great opportunity has arisen within Amulet for a Corporate Front of House Security Officer in Manchester. We are seeking an experienced, presentable, and articulate Security officer who is able to deliver excellent customer service to both the client and the customers.

RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Manage entry point, check student ID, sign in and escort contractors.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety, security, and compliance with site procedures.
  • Inspect and check fire extinguishers, emergency equipment, and other safety apparatus to ensure they are present, accessible, and in good working order.
  • Complete weekly safety inspection checklists and maintain accurate records of all checks and observations.
  • Address and de-escalate incidents, complete reports, and liaise with emergency services.
  • Assist visitors and support student welfare.
  • Aid in evacuations, medical emergencies, and emergency service coordination.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Knowledge of security protocols, access control systems and emergency response procedures.
  • You are capable of problem-solving, dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.
  • You have evidence of strong time management skills.
  • You can demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are vigilant and take a “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks.
  • You are computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.

LICENCES

  • Possession of a valid SIA Licence
  • First Aid qualification is desirable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
