  • Maintain clear records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions, following company protocols.
  • Assist in tuning security measures, developing use cases, and improving detection capabilities.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external customers to enhance security protocols and response strategies.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, new attack techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure security requirements are understood and properly implemented.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in cybersecurity principles, attack detection, incident response, and security frameworks.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and threat intelligence models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrable experience in conveying complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and hybrid cloud environments.
  • A proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends, new threats, and best practices.
  • Previous experience in a SOC or cybersecurity support role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies such as QRadar, Azure Sentinel, or Elastic SIEM.
  • Understanding of endpoint security, IAM, and data protection best practices.
  • Knowledge of both Microsoft Windows and Linux-based operating systems.

Due to the sensitivity of the role, you will also need to go through and pass security clearance.

What do we offer you?

  • 25 days annual leave + birthday
  • Subsidised private medical insurance
  • 5.1% matched pension contributions
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Life assurance and Income protection
  • Share save and incentive plans
