About this role

Cyber Security Lead

London (Hybrid, 2 Days Per Week) | Base Salary: £70,000-£80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're supporting a growing organisation in the search for a Cyber Security Lead to take ownership of and develop its cyber security capability.

This is an opportunity to join a business in a newly created role where you'll be responsible for defining the security roadmap, improving security maturity, driving compliance initiatives while remaining hands-on across some technical activities.

Reporting into senior technology leadership, you'll act as the organisation's cyber security subject matter expert, partnering with both internal stakeholders and external security providers to strengthen the overall security posture of the business.

You’ll be a good fit if you have experience with

  • Defining and delivering the cyber security strategy and roadmap.
  • Supporting compliance activities across ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials+, NIST and GDPR.
  • Leading security risk management activities and remediation programmes.
  • Owning technical security activities.
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Delivering security awareness initiatives and reporting security performance to senior stakeholders.
