About this role

We are recruiting for a Duty Manager at Leeds Road Sports Complex (HD2 1YY).

Contract: 18.5 hours-37 hours- including earlies, lates and weekends on a rota basis

Requirements of Duty Manager

  • Experience of supervison or key holding
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Health & Safety Knowledge

Responsibilities of Duty Manager

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the facility through administrative checks, customer service, cash handling, building tours and delivering an excellent experience for all visitors.
  • Key holding and responsibility for the security, health and safety of the building and everyone in it - this role includes lone working
  • Lead and support high standards of cleanliness across the site, maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment.
  • Ensure health, safety and emergency procedures are followed at all times, responding appropriately to incidents, carrying out first aid where required and maintaining a safe operating environment.

We need to make you aware that anyone who is still in compulsory education (last Friday in June in the school year in which someone reaches their 16th birthday) that there are some restrictions in place per this guide here , as such these roles may not be suitable.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Disclosure (DBS) is required for this post. A conviction will not exclude a candidate but will be considered as part of the overall recruitment process.
