Package: $120k-$125k inclusive of super

The Role

Manage the day-to-day facilities operations of a commercial property portfolio across Sydney CBD.

Your duties and responsibilities as a Facilities Manager

• Manage a commercial property portfolio across Sydney CBD with one fortnightly visit to a commercial asset in Parramatta.
• Maintain contractor compliance records, including insurances and certifications.
• Conduct inspections to ensure building standards are maintained.
• Recommend safety or capital works improvements to the Principal.
• Identify and address operational issues promptly.
• Review building presentation and cleaning standards, and rectify deficiencies.
• Arrange repairs and maintenance within budget approval limits, seeking Principal approval for expenditure beyond those limits or for major works.
• Respond to tenant fault reports and service requests, escalating significant matters as needed.
• Oversee contractors to maintain safe, clean and compliant common areas, plant rooms and building systems

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with client/tenants
• Good technical knowledge
• Sound understanding of HVAC and AFSS
