We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our office environments are safe, welcoming, and fully compliant for colleagues, visitors, and contractors. You'll help drive excellence across our facilities portfolio, ensuring compliance with current legislation, Southern Housing policies and procedures, and our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Leading a team of Facilities Officers, you'll inspire high performance, foster a positive team culture, and champion behaviours aligned with our HEART values. You'll work closely with contractors and stakeholders to manage both planned and reactive maintenance programmes, ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards while achieving value for money.

Your primary base will be Fleet House, Farringdon, with regular travel required across our London offices. The role is office based with the option of having one day hybrid when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.

What you'll have

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing and developing a team within Facilities Management.
  • Acquired or currently working towards Health and Safety NEBOSH or IOSH General certificate.
  • Extensive knowledge of facilities services including building maintenance, systems, office equipment, office moves, procurement of goods and services.
  • Experience of Multi-site Facilities Management.
  • Previous knowledge of PPM and managing compliance.
  • You’ll be prepared to travel daily across multiple sites.
