Job Description

This is a strategic leadership position operating at Group level, responsible for protecting SGS's people, assets, operations, services and reputation worldwide.

Reporting to the SVP Legal, the Global Head of Corporate Security will define and drive the company's global security vision, governance framework and risk management strategy. The role combines leadership in security intelligence, investigations, protective security, crisis management and enterprise risk, while partnering closely with executive leaders across a highly international business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement SGS's global corporate security strategy
  • Develop policies, standards and governance frameworks to manage security and integrity risks across the Group
  • Lead global security risk assessment, threat intelligence and geopolitical risk monitoring activities
  • Oversee corporate investigations involving security, integrity and business operations matters
  • Drive crisis management, incident response and resilience initiatives
  • Protect SGS personnel through travel security, executive protection and high-risk environment support
  • Provide trusted advice to senior leadership on emerging threats and security risks
  • Build, lead and develop a globally distributed team of security specialists
  • Promote a strong security culture through engagement, communication and executive influence
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of security recommendations and controls across the organisation
  • Represent Corporate Security with executive stakeholders, regional leadership teams and external partners worldwide

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

You are an influential leader with significant experience in corporate security, investigations, intelligence, risk management or related disciplines within complex international environments.

You bring a balance of strategic thinking, operational judgment and strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage senior executives and challenge constructively when required.

Required Experience

  • Proven leadership experience within Corporate Security, Security Risk Management, Protective Security, Intelligence, Investigations, Resilience or a related field
  • Experience operating in multinational or globally complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of security risk management methodologies and governance frameworks
  • Experience leading investigations, threat assessments and security reviews
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior business stakeholders and executive leadership teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills
  • Ability to travel internationally, including to higher-risk environments when required
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity and sound judgement.
