Role Summary

We are looking for an IT & Security Analyst to assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure and provide support managing security compliance.

The role is based in our Bristol office. Occasional travel may be required to our Derby office and Datacentre in South Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to servers, workstations, laptops and network equipment.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and updates of software applications and patches.
  • Maintain and improve security monitoring, detection and response capability across tools, logs and alerts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT systems, procedures, and user requests.
  • Enforce IT security policies and best practices, support audits, assessments and evidence gathering to demonstrate adherence to policies, controls and standards.

Personal Qualities and Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of Networking Fundamentals.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff and business units.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong technical writing / documentation skills.
