We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to coordinate daily technology operations, system support, service performance, and technical workflows.

You will oversee operational priorities, support technology teams, monitor service quality, manage technical issues, and help improve the reliability and efficiency of business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily IT and technology operations
  • Monitor system and service performance
  • Manage technical support priorities and escalations
  • Maintain operational procedures and technical records
  • Coordinate system maintenance and scheduled updates
  • Monitor incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Support user access and account-management processes
  • Maintain accurate hardware, software, and system records
  • Coordinate with technology suppliers and service providers
  • Review recurring technical issues and recommend improvements
  • Prepare operational reports and performance summaries
  • Support implementation of new systems and technology services
  • Monitor service levels and response times
  • Assist with IT security and access-control procedures
  • Coordinate backup and business-continuity activities
  • Support and guide technical team members
  • Maintain appropriate handling of confidential business information
  • Follow company technology and data-protection procedures

What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • Three or more years of experience in IT operations, technical support, systems administration, infrastructure, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating technical workflows or service activities
  • Experience troubleshooting systems and technology issues
  • Previous responsibility for service performance or technical reporting is preferred

Skills

  • Strong IT operations and technical-support knowledge
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organisation and workload-management skills
  • Understanding of business systems, networks, and cloud services
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple technical priorities
  • Good reporting and analytical skills
  • Confident working with technology suppliers and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to security and data handling
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education

  • Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Relevant technical certifications are beneficial
  • Suitable professional experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications

Pay: £56,000.00-£64,000.00 per year
