We’re Hiring: Mobile security Officer

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week

  • Grade: Site Based
  • Must be available to work Monday to Sunday. This could be inclusive of Weekend days & nights. This position has an average of 42 hours a week guaranteed

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will deliver mobile security services across multiple client sites, carrying out patrols, alarm responses, lock/unlock duties, escort services, and property inspections to protect people, property, and assets. A*Mobile Security Officer* must be confident, professional, and customer-focused, with strong verbal and written communication skills. As a Mobile Security Officer, you will uphold Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness while providing excellent customer service. Previous mobile security experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Conduct regular patrols to maintain site safety and deter unauthorised activity.
  • Monitor access control, verify credentials, and carry out searches when required.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, following site procedures.
  • Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors with a professional approach.
  • Ensure compliance with site regulations, security procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and handovers while remaining vigilant at all times.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Full UK manual driving licence (company vehicle provided).
  • Valid Front Line SIA Security Licence.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work/history record.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
