About this role
Are you an experienced manager who can lead a team, build strong relationships with venues and keep things running smoothly on a busy Saturday night?
We’re looking for someone who knows how to get the best out of people, stays calm under pressure and takes pride in doing a good job.
You might already be managing security operations, or come from a background in licensed venues, hospitality or events. What matters is that you understand the night-time economy, know how to manage people and take ownership when something needs sorting.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to our Operations Director, you’ll look after a portfolio of venues, making sure our clients receive a reliable, professional service and our staff have the support they need.
You’ll be a regular presence at your venues, getting to know the people, checking standards and dealing with issues before they become bigger problems.
Your role will include
- Leading door supervision teams across multiple venues and contracts.
- Managing rotas, sickness and last-minute staffing gaps.
- Recruiting reliable people and helping them settle in and develop.
- Building relationships with venue owners and general managers, keeping in touch and following through on commitments.
- Handling incidents, complaints and staff performance issues fairly and confidently.
- Carrying out evening and weekend site visits to support teams and maintain standards.
- Keeping risk assessments, assignment instructions and operational reports up to date.
- Making sure teams work safely and meet SIA requirements and company procedures.
Who we’re looking for
You’re someone people can rely on. You’re organised, clear in your communication and comfortable making decisions when several things need your attention at once.
You know when to delegate, when to step in and when to ask for support. You can have a difficult conversation without damaging a relationship, and you understand that looking after your staff and looking after your clients go hand in hand.
Experience managing multiple sites, venues, contracts or client accounts would be particularly valuable. Door supervision or security management experience is ideal, but we also welcome applications from managers with relevant hospitality, events or late-night venue experience.
Above all, we want someone who is honest, takes responsibility and wants to build a future with T3 Security.
What you’ll need
- A current SIA Door Supervision Licence.
- Experience managing teams in a busy operational environment.
- Strong organisation and communication skills.
- Confidence using Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- The right to work in the UK.
This role involves travel between venues across the North East. Evening and weekend work is an essential part of the job, including being out supporting teams on busy Friday and Saturday nights.
What you can expect from us
You’ll join a growing security business with a supportive management team and direct access to the Operations Director. You’ll have responsibility for your venues, the opportunity to help improve how we work and room to develop within the company.
