About this role

Sonic Communications are a successful Electronics Manufacturing Company whose technology is used worldwide. The Company operates from a single site in Bickenhill within walking distance of Birmingham International Train Station giving us good transport links for rail or local bus services in support of employee parking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Main production Schedule and fluidity
  • Oversee Specialist Production, Purchasing and Quality
  • Manage 2D +3D Design Team Members
  • Develop Staff Training Programme for new starters with Production
  • Develop process to ensure Production is efficient
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure product delivery
  • Manage Manage Shop and requirements
  • Manage facility, ensure efficient running and resolve faults
  • Approve procurements
  • Ensure throughput is on target meeting KP I's
  • Discuss supply chain and potential requirments

Requirements

  • Persistent attention to detail
  • Good time keeping
  • Efficient, timely and tidy work ethic
  • Good communications skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Sage Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Electronic knowledge
  • Manufacturing/Engineering background
  • Ability to manage multiple Departments
