This role supports risk governance, risk reporting, insurance administration, resilience activities and risk advisory services across the organisation. In this individual contributor role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to promote effective risk management practices and assist the business in meeting its risk management obligations.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Support the review, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Vocus Group Risk Management Framework, including policies, procedures, governance arrangements, risk registers, risk appetite measures and key risk indicators
  • Manage the coordination and administration of management Risk and Resilience Committees, including agenda and papers preparation, stakeholder engagement, minutes, action tracking and stakeholder follow up
  • Assist in preparation of Board risk reporting including, prepare and maintain risk reports, dashboards and committee papers for management and Board reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk frameworks and processes related to emerging regulatory requirements, including cyber security and privacy obligations
  • Deliver training and presentations on risk management and resilience topics to a variety of stakeholders from staff through to Executives
  • Support the management and administration of the Group insurance program, including policy renewals, broker engagement and claims management activities
  • Oversee the annual Group Resilience program including review, update and testing of the Crisis Management Business Continuity programs and related documentation
  • Provide risk management education, guidance and support to business stakeholders to improve risk awareness and capability.

What you’ll bring to this role

  • 3-5 years' experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, governance or a related discipline
  • Understanding of enterprise risk management principles and governance frameworks
  • Experience assisting with risk reporting, risk assessments or compliance activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships across the business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Power Apps
  • Experience utilising a GRC platform.
