Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable SC (Security Clearance) Cleared Security Officer to uphold the safety and security of our facilities. This role involves monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.
Duties
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Manage access control by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
- Perform regular patrols of the facility, including entry points, secure areas, and perimeters, to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations accurately and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide first aid assistance when required and support emergency response procedures as part of safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid security clearance at the SC level or higher is essential.
- Proven experience in security roles, preferably within high-security environments or government facilities.
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond decisively during emergencies.
- First aid certification is highly desirable to provide immediate assistance if needed.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
