In this role you will

  • Identify, assess and help mitigate cyber security risks across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity platforms and operational technology environments.
  • Partner with project teams and technology stakeholders to embed security into solutions from design through to implementation.
  • Work closely with managed security service providers to enhance monitoring, detection, incident response and security operations.
  • Support CleanCo's Information Security Management System (ISMS), governance obligations and continuous cyber maturity uplift initiatives.
  • Drive vulnerability management, threat analysis and remediation activities that improve CleanCo's security posture.
  • Support the secure adoption and governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
  • Assess and provide guidance on AI-related cyber, privacy, data protection and regulatory risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse and unauthorised access.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating technical risks into practical business outcomes and recommendations.

This role is a full-time permanent position based in Brisbane.

On your first day you will have

  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security, security engineering, security architecture or related information security disciplines.
  • Experience conducting security assessments, architecture reviews and technical risk assessments across enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Essential Eight, CIS Controls or ISM.
  • Experience across cloud environments such as Azure, AWS and SaaS platforms.
  • Exposure to security operations, vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring technologies.
  • Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate security risks in clear and practical ways.

What you will find here

  • The opportunity to contribute to Queensland’s clean energy future and see the real-world impact of your work
  • A supportive environment that embraces change and encourages continuous learning
  • Space to take ownership, backed by trust and accountability
