4 on 4 off rota with pro rata cover days required to make the 48 hour per week average#

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance with security assignment instructions and SLA’s agreed in the contract to meet the requirements of the client and company
  • Carry out security services patrols
  • Carry out routine Fire patrols/checks
  • To ensure that all Fire procedures are implemented and monitored at all times.
  • Booking /weighing vehicles on & off site
  • Recording of printed products leaving site
  • Assist in compliance of all customer policies and procedures are adhered too
  • To report immediately any misuse, damage or threat to the customers or OCS property & equipment
  • Report any breach or unsafe practices in the workplace to Line Manager in accordance with the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures and with support from the Health and Safety Manager.
  • To carry out control room duties as required
  • Provide for fire checks, patrols and isolation fire panel when required
  • Provide along with other security personnel mail/courier sort/collection/delivery service
  • Adherence to company and site H & S policies
  • Accurately and legibly complete all relevant documentation associated with all relevant tasks. All other reasonable requests to meet the needs of the business.

  • Flexibility – Ability to move between areas (training permitting) to meet the needs of the business.
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Punctuality, reliability with excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to balance workload in areas of priority
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work safely
  • Problem solving skills and confident decision making
  • First Aid trained and hold a Valid First Aid Certificate
