Security Manager

Contract:**Permanent

We are looking for a passionate and guest focused Security Manager to join our incredible team at The Marylebone. You show confidence, empathy and professionalism when dealing with guests and team alike. You are knowledgeable in all security and safety standard operating procedures and fully trained in the hotel emergency, crisis procedures and evacuation protocols. You are calm under pressure, and are dedicated to providing exceptional care while demonstrating great pride and attention to detail in your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage hotel security systems, including CCTV operations and regular security patrols.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, assets, and hotel premises at all times.
  • Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, evacuations, and incident investigations.
  • Conduct security checks, loss prevention activities, and investigations into theft, damage, and other incidents.
  • Maintain accurate security records, logs, and reports in line with company procedures.
  • Support cash handling security processes and monitor the removal of hotel property.
  • Work closely with department leaders to promote a safe and secure working environment.
  • Assist with business continuity planning, health and safety initiatives, and the development of operational procedures.
  • Provide security support during hotel events and busy operational periods.
  • Manage challenging situations professionally, resolving conflicts and addressing inappropriate behaviour.
  • Deliver exceptional service standards in line with Forbes, LQA, and company expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and compliance activities to maintain best practice standards.
  • Work a flexible shift pattern including weekends, evenings, nights, and public holidays.
