Security Officer/Concierge

Excell Protective Group is currently seeking highly motivated and professional Static Security Officers to join our growing operations across the Melbourne metropolitan area.

We are looking for reliable, punctual, and experienced security professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of safety, presentation, and professionalism.

This position involves providing static guarding, concierge services, and asset protection within corporate and commercial environments. You will represent our organisation on-site and play a key role in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and professional atmosphere.

Remuneration

Paid in accordance with the Security Services Industry Award.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional concierge-style customer service while maintaining strong security presence
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure safety and security of the premises
• Monitor and protect assets in accordance with site procedures
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Interact with clients, tenants, contractors, and the public in a courteous and effective manner
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Follow management directives and collaborate effectively within a team environment

Essential Requirements

• Valid Victorian Security License
• Current First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
• Working with Children Check (May be required)
• Full working rights in Australia (only applicants with unrestricted working rights will be considered)
• Intermediate computer skills and confidence using reporting systems and software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients and the public
• Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and maintain high standards of compliance
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service
