GENERAL SUMMARY
- Responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient running of the shop security
- Responsible for monitoring daily operations and for early stages of conflict resolution.
- Tracks daily, weekly and monthly hour usage and work completion levels to meet or exceed established budgets and targets.
- Researches, identifies, and informs about the issues that cause inefficiencies in productivity and accuracy
- Ensure to act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Ensures Security Standards are maintained to approved standards
- Responsibility to protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively monitor CCTV to maximize productivity, service level accuracy and encourage a safe and healthy working environment
- Effectively monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Monitor, record and report in detail any suspicious incidents.
- Responsible for patrolling randomly or regularly building and perimeter.
- Tracks daily, weekly, and monthly hour usage and work completion levels to meet or exceed established budgets.
- Works with Warehouse junior manager to research, identify and correct issues that cause inefficiencies in productivity and accuracy.
- Responsible for maintaining a complete understanding of all procedures within security, computer screens and reporting.
- Maintains awareness and understanding of how the department impacts customers, both internal & external, and the department’s overall impact on the operation. Ensure the correct communication structure is followed through the line management structure.
- Ensure all department Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions are complete, up to date, issued to and understood.
- Ensure that customer experience and service are delivered in appropriate format.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Previous Security officer experience required.
- GCSE or Equivalent
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- SIA license
Desirable, but not a requirement
Knowledge of Lithuanian or Russian language
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £13.21-£14.00 per hour
