Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer with SC (Security Check) clearance to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets. Duties
- Conduct continuous CCTV surveillance to monitor activity and identify potential security threats or breaches
- Perform regular patrols of the premises, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter unauthorized access
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
- Manage access control procedures for staff, visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, providing first aid if required and coordinating with emergency services
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting purposes
- Assist in security audits and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Valid SC (Security Check) clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain or renew as required
- Proven experience in security operations, surveillance, or loss prevention roles
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts and handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail and suspicious activity detection
