Position Summary

The London EDITION is looking for its next Security Officer!

As Security Officer at The London EDITION you will be responsible for the protection of hotel assets, protection of employees, patrons and property, accident, health and safety and fire prevention.

You will ensures that all areas of the hotel are safe and secure. This is a key role within the hotel and you will work with managers and employees to successfully execute all security tasks.

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for

  • Patrolling the property
  • Assisting with guests
  • Monitoring and responding to alarms
  • Locking property entrances when required and being responsible for keys
  • Conducting daily physical hazard inspections
  • Responding to accidents and contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as required
  • Assisting guests/employees during emergency situations
  • Reporting to scenes of accidents/incidents and completing reports where applicable
  • Resolving safety hazard situations
  • Escorting any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation
  • Completing security shift summary/daily activity report
