What you’ll be doing

You’ll be involved in a broad range of operational responsibilities, including:

*Daily Operations:*Helping coordinate the day-to-day delivery of our security services, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Staff Scheduling: Organising rotas, managing shift requirements, coordinating cover and resolving staffing issues.

Recruitment: Interviewing potential security personnel, assisting with onboarding and ensuring we recruit people who meet our standards.

*Compliance:*under our compliance officer, Supporting day to day SIA, ACS and company compliance requirements, including staff screening, licensing, training records and operational procedures.

Client Relationships: Maintaining regular contact with our clients, conducting site visits, reviewing service delivery and ensuring they remain happy with the service we provide.

*Staff Support:*Building positive working relationships with our security teams, dealing with operational queries and supporting their performance.

Problem Solving: Identifying potential issues early, taking ownership and finding practical solutions.

Business Development: Recognising opportunities with existing and prospective clients, assisting with enquiries and supporting the company’s continued growth.

Continuous Improvement: Bringing fresh ideas to the business and helping us improve how we operate.

Who we’re looking for

We’re particularly interested in someone who

• Has experience in security operations, contract management, scheduling or a similar service-led environment.
• Is naturally organised and capable of managing several priorities at once.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is confident speaking with clients, interviewing staff and dealing with people at all levels.
• Takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions.
• Can make sensible decisions and work independently.
• Understands the importance of compliance, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Has a positive, approachable personality and a genuine can-do attitude.
• Is comfortable using computers, scheduling systems and everyday office software.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel to client sites.

Previous experience in the security industry would be a significant advantage, particularly knowledge of SIA requirements and operational security standards.

However, we’re equally interested in someone with strong transferable operational and people-management skills who has the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Working arrangements

The role is based at our office in Frome, Somerset, with regular visits to client sites.

Our normal working days are Monday to Friday.

For the right person, we’re happy to consider a sensible combination of office-based and home working, depending on operational requirements.

A company pool vehicle will be available for authorised business journeys, including client and site visits (this is not a personal-use company car.
