Job Summary
Protecto Security Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee security services across client sites. You will manage security teams, shift coverage, incident response, site standards, client relationships, and regulatory compliance while ensuring consistent and professional service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily security operations across multiple client locations.
- Supervise site supervisors, security officers, mobile patrols, and control-room staff.
- Prepare staffing plans, shift schedules, deployment requirements, and operational procedures.
- Ensure all sites receive reliable coverage and meet agreed service standards.
- Conduct site inspections, security reviews, and operational audits.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and security breaches.
- Review incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and emergency services.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, training, conduct, and licence compliance.
- Support security risk assessments and the development of site instructions.
- Track operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for clients and management.
- Manage uniforms, equipment, access-control systems, and other operational resources.
- Investigate complaints and implement corrective or preventive actions.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of security personnel.
Requirements
- Experience managing security operations, guarding services, facilities security, or mobile patrol teams.
- Previous responsibility for security staff, shift planning, and multi-site service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of incident management, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.
- A valid SIA licence is highly desirable.
- Understanding of relevant security regulations, health and safety, and data-protection requirements.
- Strong leadership, organisation, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions during security incidents.
- Experience managing client relationships, service standards, and performance reports.
- Confidence using workforce-scheduling, incident-reporting, and access-control systems.
- A full driving licence may be required for travel between client sites.

Pay: £3,900.00-£4,400.00 per month
