About this role

Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Residential Security Patrol Driver to join our growing team. This role involves conducting mobile patrols in residential areas, responding to incidents, and helping keep local communities safe. If you have a strong security background and previous Police or Armed Forces experience, we'd like to hear from you.

Hours: 48–60 hours per week

Overtime opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol residential areas using a company vehicle.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and resident requests.
  • Carry out routine security inspections of streets and properties.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious or criminal activity.
  • Complete clear and accurate patrol and incident reports.
  • Maintain a professional, approachable, and visible security presence.
  • Work alongside emergency services when necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a security role.
  • Former Police or Armed Forces experience is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Valid SIA Licence, or willingness to obtain one (training/support available).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and additional hours when required.
  • FREC qualification is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • 4–5 shifts per week.
  • Primarily night shifts.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Overtime opportunities available.
