JOB SUMMARY

As a Security Supervisor in Security, you will oversee the day-to-day security operation, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests, colleagues, and hotel premises. You will lead and support the Security team, respond effectively to incidents and emergencies, and ensure security standards, procedures, and Forbes Five-Star expectations are consistently maintained. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • To oversee the security function of the hotel – ensuring that all external security personnel have been assigned and fulfilling their duties as per the company’s policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that all areas of the hotel, including external areas are being patrolled
  • To carry out documented fire route patrols as per the company’s policies and procedures
  • To assist in escorting any undesirables off the premises, in accordance with the departmental SOP.
  • To manage all contractors and visitors whilst on premises – ensuring that they have been signed in/out and the relevant departments contact.
  • Maintain key control management as per the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure security is maintained in all areas of the hotel – i.e. stores / offices / guest rooms etc. are secured / locked as per the locking schedule / SOPs.
  • Ensure that all property reported lost on the premises is correctly recorded and enquiries made to trace and restore it.
