About this role
We're seeking a Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst (APS6 equivalent) to support cyber security GRC activities within a major resilience uplift program for a Federal Government agency.
The role
- Contribute to solution design for security considerations
- Review and develop security requirements and recommendations
- Prepare communications and documentation for senior executive decision-making
- Support security assurance processes, including IRAP assessments and penetration testing
- Lead the development of formal security documentation
Details
- 12-month initial contract + 12-month extension option
- Start date: 1 September 2026
- Location: Canberra (ACT), full-time onsite (temporary WFH considered case-by-case)
- Up to 45 hours per week — this is a surge role; extended hours and weekend work required during key delivery periods
- Security clearance: must be eligible to obtain NV1
