About this role

Position: Senior Delivery Lead - OT Cyber Security

Type: Contract, Inside IR35, 6 Months

We are looking for a Senior Delivery Lead to join a major cyber security transformation programme within a leading international manufacturing organisation. I must stress the senior part in the job title - this person will need to be both an expert in OT but also someone who has clear, demonstrable experience of operating at a Senior Delivery Lead level.

The role sits within the Manufacturing & Operational Technology (OT) workstream, which is focused on strengthening the security and resilience of the systems that underpin large-scale manufacturing operations.

Initially, the role will focus on the rollout of OT Monitoring across priority manufacturing sites, working closely with site leadership, engineering, operations, cyber teams and third-party suppliers. The OT Monitoring solution, including Claroty, will provide improved visibility and threat detection across manufacturing environments.

Once the initial rollout is established, the role is expected to support delivery of further OT security initiatives across the programme, potentially including IT/OT network segregation and Secure Remote Access.

You will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into executable delivery plans, maintaining delivery governance, managing risks, issues and dependencies, coordinating internal teams and vendors, and ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to the required security, regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of the OT Monitoring rollout across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Coordinate internal engineering, operations, cyber, architecture and service teams alongside third-party vendors
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies and critical paths
  • Manage the RAID process, proactively identifying and driving risks, issues and dependencies through to resolution
  • Coordinate site deployment activity, ensuring local stakeholders are engaged and operational requirements are understood
  • Maintain delivery governance, reporting and stage-gate requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track project costs, vendor milestones, budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and delivery risks
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed security, quality and acceptance criteria, with appropriate evidence and audit trails
  • Support business readiness, change, training and adoption activities ahead of deployment
  • Coordinate go-live, hypercare and transition into BAU, ensuring clear ownership, support processes and documentation are in place
  • As the OT security programme develops, support delivery of further OT initiatives including network segregation and Secure Remote Access

Skills & Experience

  • Strong project or delivery leadership experience within complex technology or cyber security programmes
  • Experience delivering Operational Technology / OT cyber security projects would be highly advantageous
  • Experience coordinating technology deployments across multiple sites, teams or geographies
  • Strong understanding of project governance, RAID management, dependencies, budgets and delivery reporting
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of OT / industrial environments and technologies such as SCADA, PLCs, MES and HMI
  • Knowledge of OT cyber security principles and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST or similar
  • Experience working within matrixed, distributed or federated organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and operational audiences
  • Experience supporting service transition, go-live and handover into BAU

This is a high-impact role within a multi-year cyber security transformation programme, initially focused on delivering a major OT Monitoring rollout across manufacturing operations, with the opportunity to move onto further OT security initiatives as the programme progresses.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of delivery, coordinating multiple stakeholders and suppliers, and turning complex cyber and technology objectives into successful operational outcomes.
