Your Career

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how we manage information security, governance and emerging AI technologies, helping to ensure innovation is delivered securely, responsibly and compliantly.

Your Team

Reporting to the Senior Information Security Manager, you'll work across the business with colleagues, customers and suppliers to promote a strong security culture and establish effective AI governance. You'll collaborate with teams throughout MHR, providing expert guidance, managing risk, and helping the business navigate an evolving security and AI landscape.

Your Impact

You'll lead security and AI awareness initiatives, deliver engaging training programmes, oversee risk assessments and supplier reviews, and support compliance with frameworks including ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2 and Cyber Essentials. You'll help maintain key governance processes, monitor security and AI controls, and identify and implement opportunities where AI and automation can improve productivity, enhance customer experiences, and reduce organisational risk. You'll also manage low-risk incidents, support investigations into more complex security and AI-related incidents and provide assurance to customers on MHR's approach to security, governance and responsible AI.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in information security governance, risk and compliance
  • Knowledge of security and AI control frameworks
  • Experience delivering security awareness and training programmes
  • Understanding of supplier and third-party risk management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting audits, certifications and compliance activities
  • CompTIA Security+ and ISO 27001 certification (or equivalent experience)

Exposure to ISO 42001, Microsoft Purview, AI governance or AI agent oversight would be advantageous
