Connect to your Industry
Cyber security is critical to every organisation. We are helping organisations build their resilience through proactive cyber incident response services and supporting them during some of the most disruptive and critical moments of an incident, and we need you to join us. You’ll build strong relationships as one of the areas of our cyber practice with over 450 extremely talented individuals in the UK alone, as part of a Technology and Transformation practice of 7,500 people. Join us and you will help our clients solve the latest cyber security challenges, in a business with very significant growth ambitions enjoying the kind of professional development that will set your potential free.
At Deloitte, the Cyber Incident Response team helps our clients prepare for, detect, and respond to cyber threats, offering services across readiness, detection, and response to strengthen their cyber resilience and ensure they can confidently navigate the evolving threat landscape and effectively manage incidents. You will play a key role in uplifting our clients' cyber posture and maturity by delivering proactive services that help organisations build robust defences, enhance their incident response capabilities, and reduce the risk of high-impact cyber-attacks.
Connect to your career at Deloitte
Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, we help our clients become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.
What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.
Connect to your opportunity
We recognise our strength is in the diversity of our teams experience, background and culture. We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about the work they do, prepared to think differently, are pragmatic and able to work with others to influence outcomes. We value those who aren’t afraid to challenge the status-quo to help us improve. We deliver value to our clients, colleagues, and community in the way we plan, deliver, and reflect on our work, as a team. Diversity of thought is equally important to us and we are looking for applicants from all backgrounds.
To continue to be successful in an industry that evolves at a lightening pace we recognise we must equip our colleagues with the ability to learn, grow and improve. As a result, we provide technical training and mentoring in a safe environment with empathetic and supportive feedback. Every member of the team also receives developmental guidance in consulting skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-awareness to allow everyone to grow and develop personally, at their own pace.
The need for world-class security and privacy has never been greater. We work with our clients to better understand and manage their security risks, architect and build secure infrastructure and solutions, and protect live services.
In a rapidly changing world where information has a significant value, supply chains are increasingly interconnected. In a world of uncertainty when doing business on a global basis, the resilience of operations has become a board level issue.
You will provide our clients with a full spectrum of services, covering proactive and reactive Cyber Incident Response (CIR) Services. The proactive arm of our business covers a breadth of propositions, including playbook development, wargaming, readiness assessments, post-breach assessments, managed threat hunting as well as implementing response automation technologies. Our specialists work with clients to uplift their maturity and fundamentally enhance their preparedness to respond, via targeted capability uplift, C-Suite awareness campaigns and training.
Our technical response team support our clients in live incident responses by working to identify root causes and evict threats. Our professionals apply their experience and imagination to find the most advanced threats, hiding in the darkest corners of the network. Not only do we identify where these threats are, we also remove them from the network, preventing business-disrupting damage from occurring. With a unique collection of skills, methodologies, and strategic award-winning vendor relationships, we can do whatever it takes – from improving the security of a single component to delivering a holistic security and privacy program.
As a Cyber Incident Response Advisory and Incident Management Senior Manager or Associate Director, you will focus on developing our business across both proactive and reactive services, whilst leading our advisory engagements and supporting live responses in an incident management capacity. You should be willing and able to:
- Apply a creative mindset that will enable you to solve clients’ issues whilst thinking around corners;
- Lead teams, inspire colleagues and act as a trusted business adviser;
- Lead the delivery of cyber incident response related engagements with our clients, working seamlessly and collaboratively with colleagues;

- Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution;
- Contribute to the creation of new Cyber incident response related services and the development of existing services;
