Overview

Your incident response discipline and investigative mindset transfer to security operations and detection work.

About this role

Senior Security Analyst / Security Engineer

I'm currently working with a well-established financial services organisation that's looking to hire a Senior Security Analyst / Security Engineer to join its growing cyber security team.

This is a hands-on Security Operations role within a small, collaborative security function, offering a genuine blend of Security Operations, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response.

This opportunity would suit someone who

  • Has experience across Security Operations, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response.
  • Enjoys improving detections and reducing alert fatigue rather than simply responding to high volumes of alerts.
  • Wants to remain hands-on whilst helping shape and evolve security operations.
  • Has an interest in automation, SOAR, threat intelligence, and broader security engineering initiatives.

You'll be joining an organisation where cyber security has strong visibility across the business, new ideas are welcomed, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact from day one.
