Senior Security Engineer/Specialist (Microsoft Security)

Join a growing Microsoft-focused cybersecurity consultancy helping enterprise and mid-market organisations secure, govern and modernise their cloud environments.

This is a client-facing role where you'll design, implement and optimise Microsoft security solutions across multiple customer environments, working with technologies including Microsoft Purview, Defender XDR, Entra ID and Sentinel.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver Microsoft security solutions aligned to business, risk and compliance requirements.
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview, Defender, Entra and Sentinel.
• Lead discovery workshops, security assessments and solution design sessions.
• Build detection and response capabilities, data protection controls and identity security frameworks.
• Produce technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Support presales activities, customer demonstrations and solution scoping.
• Contribute to the evolution of managed security services and mentor junior team members.

What You'll Bring

• Experience delivering Microsoft security solutions in consulting, professional services or enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Purview, Entra and/or Sentinel.
• Security architecture and implementation experience.
• Understanding of frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001 and APRA CPS 234.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
