What You’ll Be Doing…

This is a pivotal opportunity to join Lloyds Banking Group and the Chief Security Office as we transform how security is delivered across the Group. As Unified Endpoint Security Lab Lead, you’ll define and lead the strategy, delivery and operation of endpoint security controls across the UK’s largest digital bank. You’ll bring together previously distributed security capabilities into a single, cohesive lab, driving modern, scalable and automated security outcomes that reduce risk while enabling the business to move faster.

Leading multidisciplinary engineering and security teams, you’ll own the roadmap for endpoint security capabilities across colleague devices, server platforms, browser and web controls, and email security, while collaborating closely with teams across identity, cloud, network and application security. You'll play a critical role in simplifying the control landscape, strengthening operational resilience, managing security risk and shaping the future of enterprise security at scale.

Why Join us?

If you think all banks are the same, you’re wrong. We’re a pioneering, fast-changing business that’s shaping finance as a force for good. If you’re after a role where you can have an impact and do the best work of your career, you’ve just found it

What we’re looking for?

  • Significant experience leading endpoint security, workplace security or related security engineering functions within a complex enterprise environment
  • Strong expertise in modern endpoint security controls, operating models and risk management practices
  • Proven track record of leading large engineering and security teams through transformation and change
  • Experience developing and delivering outcome-focused security strategies for senior stakeholders and executive audiences
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build high-performing multidisciplinary teams, commitment to developing talent, coaching others and building inclusive team cultures
  • Experience owning security roadmaps, prioritisation decisions and large-scale technology delivery
  • Ability to translate complex technical risks into clear business decisions and recommendations
  • Background in engineering-led security environments with a focus on automation, scalability and simplification
  • Experience operating in regulated environments with strong governance and control requirements

And it would be great if you had any of the following...

  • Financial services industry experience
  • Experience implementing or operating Zero Trust security principles at enterprise scale
  • Expertise across Microsoft 365 Security technologies and endpoint security platforms
  • Experience managing data loss prevention and insider risk capabilities
  • Strong understanding of identity, cloud, network and application security domains
  • Experience influencing senior governance forums and external technology partners
  • Knowledge of modern workplace technologies across Windows, macOS, mobile and server environments
  • Experience driving standardisation and simplification of enterprise security tooling landscapes

This is a place for you…

Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion, supporting our customers, colleagues and communities. We are committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. As a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role and have a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition, through the Disability Confident Scheme.

We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers - just let us know what you need.

We Also Offer a Wide-ranging Benefits Package, Which Includes…

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • An annual bonus award, subject to Group performance
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
  • 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
