About this role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate Vulnerability Item (VIT) ownership where ownership is unclear, missing, or disputed.
  • Investigate application, infrastructure, and asset ownership through analysis of CMDB records, asset inventories, application repositories, architecture documentation, Active Directory data, cloud platforms, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Correlate technical and business information to establish accountable owners for unassigned vulnerabilities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to validate ownership findings and drive accountability for remediation activities.
  • Identify systemic ownership and data quality issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Analyse vulnerability data across multiple platforms to identify inaccuracies, ownership gaps, duplicate records, and reporting inconsistencies.
  • Reconcile data between vulnerability scanners, ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, CMDBs, asset inventories, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Perform detailed analysis to support remediation activities, risk reduction initiatives, executive reporting, and regulatory obligations.
  • Engage with application, infrastructure, and security teams to investigate issues and drive resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve vulnerability management processes, data quality, and reporting accuracy.
