THE ROLE

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for the management and day-to-day operation of Genius Sports' London HQ, ensuring it provides a world-class environment for employees, customers, partners and executives. This is a leadership role that combines workplace operations, facilities management, executive support, budget management and business continuity. The role is responsible for ensuring the office operates efficiently, safely and professionally whilst supporting the evolving needs of a growing global business.

The role will coordinate executive meetings, customer events and workplace initiatives, whilst leading the Office Assistant and managing suppliers, contracts, workplace services and operational budgets. The role will play a critical part in the continued expansion of the London headquarters, including future building expansion, workplace strategy and integration of additional business units.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the day-to-day operation of the London HQ, ensuring a safe, efficient and exceptional workplace experience for employees, customers and visitors

Line manage and develop the Office Assistant, providing leadership, direction and oversight of daily office activities and checks

Manage all workplace services including reception, hospitality, cleaning, catering, security, mail, office supplies, waste management and facilities maintenance

Develop and continuously improve workplace standards, processes and employee experience, especially around onboarding and engagement

Manage relationships with landlords, managing agents, building management and external suppliers

Own facilities contracts, service level agreements and supplier performance, ensuring value for money and high service standards

Plan and coordinate office refurbishments, workplace improvements, maintenance programmes, office moves and future building expansion projects

Lead workplace space planning, seating strategy and office utilisation to support changing business requirements

Manage operational budgets for the London office, including forecasting, purchasing, supplier payments and cost control

Negotiate supplier contracts and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies

Coordinate the space for Board meetings, customer visits, investor meetings and other executive events hosted at the HQ

Assist with the planning, design and delivery of office fit-outs, refurbishments, workplace improvements and expansion projects

Partner with the Executive Assistant team for ad hoc support for visiting leaders

Lead the London office onboarding and induction experience

Design and organise employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, office celebrations and events

Lead on internal communications relating to workplace processes and initiaitves

Own the implementation and ongoing management of Health & Safety requirements across the London office, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards

Update workplace risk assessments and records as required

Coordinate workplace incidents, investigations and corrective actions, ensuring lessons learned are implemented

Maintain and coordinate emergency response procedures for the London office

Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required

Comfortable being fully office-based in London 5 days per week
