Lead daily operations, inspire teams, and help deliver safe, high-quality aquatic and leisure experiences for the Darebin community.

Reservoir Leisure Centre is seeking experienced and motivated Duty Managers to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead teams, coordinate daily operations, manage aquatic plant systems and water quality, respond to incidents and emergencies, and ensure staff are supported to deliver outstanding service to our community.

You will

  • Ensure a safe, welcoming and professional environment for all patrons and staff.
  • Lead and support employees during daily operations, including coordinating staff in the absence of Program Leaders.
  • Manage pool plant operations, conduct water quality testing, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Respond to operational issues, customer feedback and emergency situations in accordance with Centre procedures.
  • Monitor daily operations, complete reporting requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Centre.

About you

You are an experienced aquatic industry professional with strong leadership skills, excellent judgement and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring

  • Experience supervising operations within an aquatic or leisure facility.
  • Sound knowledge of pool plant operations and water quality management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Pool Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR qualifications, and a current Working with Children Check.
  • A commitment to safety, teamwork and providing exceptional customer service.
