Overview

Your policing background gives you a natural instinct for public safety, managing unexpected incidents, and coordinating people under pressure — all central to running a busy leisure facility. Leading a site and overseeing risk assessments draws directly on your experience taking charge of operational shifts and responding to emergencies. The main gap is the specific aquatic and lifeguard qualifications, but your transferable leadership and safety expertise would make you a strong candidate once those are obtained.
