As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Compliance & Financial Crime Analyst to join our London office. Reporting directly to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across every aspect of regulatory compliance within an FCA regulated business.

This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or someone early in their compliance career looking to develop into a future compliance professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the MLRO with the day-to-day compliance function.
  • Preparing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
  • Producing transaction monitoring reports and identifying unusual activity.
  • Maintaining and updating compliance policies, procedures and risk assessments.
  • Preparing documentation for internal audits, external compliance reviews and FCA requirements.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and assisting with implementation of new regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining compliance records and ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Working closely with senior management and external compliance consultants on regulatory projects.
  • Assisting with Consumer Duty, financial crime and AML framework reviews.
  • Supporting wider compliance projects across the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems and has good attention to detail.

You don't necessarily need previous compliance experience—we're far more interested in your ability to think logically, learn quickly and communicate clearly.

You should have

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • The ability to summarise complex information into concise reports.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • A genuine interest in financial services, regulation or financial crime prevention.
  • Confidence working independently whilst also being part of a small team.

Previous experience within compliance is advantageous but not essential.

Graduates with degrees in Law, Financial Risk, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar disciplines are encouraged to apply.
