Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant team, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of service. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members across various departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage guest relations by addressing concerns, providing personalised service, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting team members to uphold company standards and improve performance.
  • Monitor daily operational activities, including reservations, and facilities management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Handle escalated guest complaints or emergencies with tact and professionalism.
  • Support human resources functions including scheduling, recruitment assistance, and staff development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience within the hospitality sector, ideally in hotel management or similar environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
  • Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations.
  • Organised with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
