The Role

Reporting to the GM Environment and Stakeholder Engagement, you will take ownership of environmental compliance systems across the business. This is a newly created position, so there is real scope to shape how we capture, manage and report environmental data.

Working Closely With Our Senior Environmental Advisors And Site Teams, Along With Legal, Finance And External Providers, Your Work Will Include

  • Maintaining the company-wide compliance schedule and auditing statutory obligations, escalating emerging risks to the GM Environment
  • Reviewing and analysing monitoring data in MonitorPro and flagging anomalies for investigation
  • Collating sustainability, NPI and NGERS data for annual report and regulatory submissions, including MRF supporting information
  • Producing a monthly report on the status of environmental monitoring data
  • Maintaining environmental compliance records in ArcGIS and driving continuous improvement across data capture

About You

We’re Looking For Someone Who Brings

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar, with solid working knowledge of WA environmental legislation
  • A genuine interest in data, with the focus to work through detailed analysis and reporting while managing your own workload with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS and the Microsoft Office suite, with MonitorPro and EMS framework experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the company
