We are seeking a transformation-focused Facilities Manager to support the delivery of a rectification and change programme within a large facilities management operation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving improvements in compliance, maintenance delivery, asset verification, backlog reduction, governance, and operational performance.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced facilities professional who can implement new processes, embed new ways of working, strengthen governance, and work closely with operational teams to create a more structured, consistent, and sustainable FM function.

While the role will support business-as-usual activities, its primary focus is the successful delivery of the transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the mobilisation and delivery of the Rectification
  • Programme across operational workstreams.
  • Drive the completion of remedial, corrective, and compliance-related activities to achieve programme objectives.
  • Work with operational teams to reduce maintenance backlogs and improve asset compliance performance.
  • Provide operational support across facilities management service delivery, ensuring maintenance activities are delivered in line with contractual requirements.
  • Implement and embed new processes, governance controls, reporting requirements, and ways of working.
  • Support communication, engagement, and training activities to drive adoption of change initiatives.
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies affecting programme delivery.
  • Build effective relationships with operational teams, suppliers, clients, and key stakeholders to support successful programme outcomes.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Facilities Manager.
  • Demonstrable change management experience.
  • Experience managing maintenance, compliance, and operational service delivery.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation, mobilisation, or improvement programmes.
  • A working knowledge of CAFM systems and performance reporting.
  • Strong communication, planning, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Formal Change Management qualification such as Prosci, APMG Change Management, or MSP.
  • Project or programme management qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, or PMP.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or a related Health & Safety qualification.
