A bit about what you will be doing

Group Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance operations overseeing and ensuring optimum running of The Evolv Collection portfolio. The role is to manage and support the maintenance team with technical support implementing and ensuring execution of PPM plans, managing group contracts, supplier’s database contractors and overseeing CAPEX & OPEX budgets, meeting the set targets. In addition, to play a key role in the delivery of health & safety standards and statutory compliance throughout The Evolv Collection group. The role requires high level technical knowledge with a hands-on approach as and when deemed necessary in emergency situations. This role also forms part of the development and design team with involvement in new openings and refurbishments schemes.

This role is office based managing contractors and ensuring the smooth running of maintenance across all sites in the group

Key Requirements

  • HNC/HND Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent i.e. Mechanical or Electrical or relevant experience.
  • NEBOSH/CIEH Health & Safety Qualification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in the Hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Significant Health & Safety experience including the implementation and managing of Health & Safety standards.
  • Good commercial and financial awareness.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including report writing to enable non-technical colleagues to understand complicated technical issues.
  • Strong negotiating skills with suppliers and contractors to enable positive outcomes.
