The Manager, Cyber Security Operations is responsible for managing the cyber security operations framework and incident response and operations of NSW Parliament to enable the organisation to prevent and respond to threats and safeguard its information, assets and services.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. About you

In this role, you will require demonstrated experience managing cyber security operations in a decentralised and high service demand organisation, along with a strong understanding of contemporary cyber security risks and appropriate treatment options.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in cyber security or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hold a current AGSVA (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency) Baseline Security Clearence or have the ability to obtain and maintain such clearance.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident.
