The Role

We are recruiting a Night-time Mobile Patrol / Alarm Response Security Officer to join our established team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two shifts are the same. You will play a key part in protecting client premises, responding to alarms, and delivering a high standard of security services.

Key Responsibilities

Attending alarm activations and rapid response incidents at various locations.

Conducting routine patrols and building checks.

Conducting inspections, reporting insecurities, and escalating issues where necessary.

Locking and unlocking client premises at scheduled times.

Driving a company vehicle (manual, GPS-tracked) safely and responsibly.

Completing accurate and timely reports using company smart devices (Android/Apple).

Liaising with supervisors and the control room to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

Valid SIA Licence (SG / DS / CP).

Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Category B).

5-year checkable work history.

Previous security experience, ideally in mobile patrols or keyholding response (preferred but not essential).

Good knowledge of the local area (Reading, Slough, Staines-upon-Thames) is desirable.

Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for reporting.

Flexible, reliable, and able to cover shifts at short notice when required.

Smart, professional, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.

Shift Pattern & Hours

  • Night shifts: 18:00 – 06:00 (Hours may vary).
  • Shifts are available for any day of the week (minimum of 3 -4 shifts each week).
  • Shifts begin and end at our Egham office.
