As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will deliver professional mobile security services and exceptional customer service across a portfolio of client sites within a designated area. The Mobile Patrol Officer will carry out duties including lock and unlock procedures, alarm response, escort services, vacant property inspections, patrols, and other mobile security tasks as directed by the Deputy Branch Manager. As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while consistently demonstrating Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, helping to make the world a safer place.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Deliver mobile security services, including patrols, alarm responses, lock/unlock duties, inspections, and escorts.
  • Maintain a professional, polite, and helpful approach at all times.
  • Follow team instructions and work effectively with colleagues.
  • Wear company uniform and display a valid SIA licence and ID card.
  • Complete vehicle checks and handovers each shift.
  • Drive safely and comply with the Highway Code.
  • Follow key management and site assignment procedures.
  • Report and escalate incidents in line with company policy.
  • Accurately record activities using company reporting systems.
  • Comply with SOPs, company policies, and driver requirements.
  • Support other sites and branches when required.
  • Protect company assets and uphold Securitas values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • A valid SIA Licence.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A 5-year checkable work and address history.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
  • An honest, reliable, and professional attitude.
