What You’ll Do

As a Senior Manager, you will directly engage with clients, setting a high standard of excellence and serving as an influential role model. Your expertise in risk management will be crucial in identifying, mitigating and managing risks throughout all stages of projects. This role also includes fostering a risk-aware culture among project teams.

Joining our Security and Privacy practice in a senior role focused on operational technology and critical infrastructure security. You will work with organisations in sectors such as energy, utilities, mining, transport and manufacturing to help them understand and secure the systems that keep their operations running.

While operational technology security is the focus, you will also have the opportunity to work across our broader security portfolio, giving you variety across cyber assurance, security strategy and regulatory work.

In this role you will

  • Lead OT and critical infrastructure security engagements, from security assessments and architecture reviews to advising clients on their obligations under the SOCI Act.
  • Lead engagements end to end, owning scope, budget, quality and client relationships, and mentoring consultants along the way.
  • Build trusted relationships with security, engineering and risk leaders, and support proposals and pursuit activity.
  • Contribute to engagements across the wider security practice as your interests and client demand allow.

What we're seeking

  • 7+ years in cyber security with hands-on experience assessing, reviewing or remediating security in OT, ICS or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience working in industries such as mining, utilities, energy, transport and manufacturing are highly desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant frameworks and obligations, such as IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, AESCSF or the SOCI Act. We do not expect deep expertise in all of them.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies or other relevant OT security platforms is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Relevant certifications such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP or CISM are valued but not required.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, including operational facilities, as needed. Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government security clearance is desirable.
